In the search for special fasteners I found a quagmire of information and web sites with pictures of fasteners but no measurements. Now I only need 5/8 inch  molding fasteners with push in pins for 1/8 inch holes but I would like to find a vendor with actual assistance from a human rather than a huge online catalog with no reason or order or at least one with good information on their website.

Thanks for the advice Ralph, but the ones in their online catalog are either threaded or they do not have enough information on them.

I need them to be designed to push in and stay in as there is no way to get behind them and put nuts on.

You should call Resto. Specialties and talk to them. They are very knowledgeable (not just order takers), and you can send them pictures or samples. Another outfit I have found helpful is RJL fasteners.
