This may be a little tricky? but here goes.......

I need a new or used fuel tank for a '75 Fleetwood with Fuel Injection. I have just bought a car with 13,000 original miles but sometime in it's life a 45 gallon, hand made tank has replaced the original, needless to say the car won't run as the tank does not have the required 'well' incorporated in the base to submerge the internal fuel pump!!!

Only solution is the proper tank, can anyone help?????? and here's the BIG question, will you ship it to the UK???? (I know it will cost me a bunch, but....gotta have one)

Thanks guys.........

Hi Peter,

There is one for sale on an advertising site in the Netherlands:

http://link.marktplaats.nl/264566882

In Dutch it is called "benzinetank"; see the 3td picture.

Shipping costs may be lower, plus you won't have to pay taxes and duties upon import.

Hi Peter,

Off coarse I will be able to assist.
To reply to the seller, you would have to press the button in the large yellow box on the right, telling "E-Mail deze adverteerder" (this means "Email this advertiser"). I think you can just send an email in English to the seller; a lot of people in the Netherlands speak English. Maybe not very good, but good enough. You could also send me your questions directly to translate them into Dutch for you.

Feiko,

Many thanks for your help, the guy replied but the tank is for a carburettor car, not F.1, and I do not know if there is any diference? I have posted the question on the general forum to see if anyone can advise?

Many thanks to you again,

Peter.
