Translating machines are still not the top! My mother tongue is French, but I don't understand half of what you wrote!

Since this is not OEM bezel is perhaps not as flush as the original. The wiring may be different and will take some trial and error to make it work properly.
May I correct the first part?
French is a complicated language...

No more complicated then English...............
There are lots of aftermarket power antenna kits out there. Many come with several different bezels to accommodate different fender profiles. For all of the trouble and labor associated with this job, I'd be tempted to try an under dash solution. They make them although I have not tried one.

You have to remove the right side hood hinge and loosen the fender to get access to replace the power unit and it's a tough job.
Brian
Alas, Brian is correct-- the right fender needs to be removed to gain access. Any chance that the original antenna is still fixable? Perhaps a blow fuse and a bit of wd 40 on the mast? Conge James
I have replaced several in my 90 Brougham. Yes, it is rather difficult. Luckily, with a few scratches to hands moving the fender, I didn't have to take off the hinge.
If you can't find an original on EBAY, try salvage yards. There are several Cadillac ones across the country. A few to speak of are Cadillac International in NY, Cadillac King in California, and Cadillac Heaven in North Carolina.
The PO is located in France. Good luck to find a junk yard with that kind of car in this country!
Well, I guess that is where the internet comes in to play, and then a mail service.
You don't need to buy a new antenna. There's a company called antenna masters that will sell the cable and small mast for $30. Original equipment and very easy to install
found same crutchfield antennae on ebay from china for $6.53
This engineer demands stuff that works, preferably with no maintenance.
The power ant on every used car I ever bought was broken. For $20 I
put something like this on, also replaces windshield antennas, never had
to remove a fender. Bruce Roe
