'38 LaSalle (or Cadillac) Glove Box Lock Wanted

Anyone have a Glove Box Lock and push button assembly to fit my '38 LaSalle ? I want to give the car to my son but he won't accept it without everything working . ( He did say it doesn't have to have a key because he knows how to rekey it !)  PS - Silvio said he had a lock, but he's been looking for a month and can't find it ! BB

Not too fussy then your boy Bruce? I may have one somewhere from a 38 Buick that I seem to remember are similar except the bezel around the key handle, until I find it I cant be sure how close it is.

Steve ...I looked at Buick's on ebay and they appear to fit a door with a much greater curved front than what the LaSalle has. ( I was just kidding about my son not wanting the car...he doesn't know he's getting it yet. it's me that wants everything working before it leaves my  barn !)

I was thinking of Buick of the same year Bruce, 37 and 38 Buick have flat doors.
