Has anyone here replaced a heater core on a 1968 Cadillac Sedan de Ville with air conditioning? Mine is not working and I've ordered a new one and gave my mechanic my shop manual. He was looking for ANY information might be helpful for him to tackle this job from someone who has done it before.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Not a difficult job.

Disconnect connections at power servo and steamboat vacuum switch. Remove heater hoses from heater core. Remove bolts at top and bottom of heater core case (6 bolts I think). Pull heater case forward and remove. It will clear the engine.

Remove core from case on bench.
