Bill, pic #1 below is a "Batwing" air cleaner.  There was no Batwing air cleaner in 1954.  Assume you are looking for the air cleaner in pic #2 below, not a Batwing but sometimes incorrectly called that.  They are readily available on the aftermarket, if you have no luck with your request here.
