I am cleaning up my fuel tank getting ready to line the inside. My problem is I can't get the outlet line tube to open up. I look inside the tank and a metal fuel line goes from the outlet to the center of the tank and bends down to the bottom and has been flattened and welded to the bottom of the tank. I figured there must be a hole in the line to let the gas be pulled up into it but I have been unable to get any air pushed through the line. I have sprayed wd-40 and pb blaster in the line and have been able to clean the line out to the bottom of the line with a piece of clothes hanger but am still not able to find a opening anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
