Well!  I must say that the tone of this thread has quickly gone down hill!

Bruce,
Hi. I have a strange feeling that he was tied into the sale of this car somehow......

90 Bids...WOW!  A lot of people after that car or lots of Sham bidding. At least it's been kept indoors, out of the elements at some point. This car still seems like a better deal than the '53. $30K difference is a nice head start towards your restoration....

Bobby it was actually only 23 bidders total. 21 of them didn't think the car was worth any more than 63.2K then two new bidders appeared with 10 mins to go . Bidder 22 went an additional $6500 looking for the successful purchasers figure but threw in the towel at $69700. I agree with the 21 bidders  65K was where I saw it  but somebody was prepared to go that bit extra.  I saw the 53 at a similar value also originally not knowing where all the missing interior parts were. The 53 is a far more deserving car for resto.

Simply, "Jack" joined using a fictitious name that was designed to "jack everyone off" and when questioned simply said "bye", but before leaving posted another dubious post.

Yeah, he used language (but spelled slightly different) we've all heard before, but it has no place here.

Rather than being a contributing member, he was an instigator.  Hopefully, after some reflection, he'll look back on his antics and be embarrassed.
