Was driving a busy east-west street here in Jupiter, Fl. near the ocean the other day when a big truck abruptly pulled left in front of me.  I slammed on the brakes, and the car stalled.  Wouldn't start, cause you have to touch brake to start.  There was traffic all around me, I couldn't hit brakes, and further the calamity.  I pulled to curb, I believe power steering was still working  (electric?) touched the brake, hit the button and the car restarted.  Has anyone else had a stall problem like that?  Haven't talked to the dealer about it yet.

I hope the dealer can find your stall problem.

I was driving a CT6 loaner and needed to fill it up before returning it. I had to hit the brake slightly while rolling up to the pump due to another car in front of me. The car actually "hopped" as it started again. (I was going too slow to remember the sequence of what happened, only that it did.) I "hate, despise, and abonimate" that feature of "modern" cars. I was glad there were no people around me till I got the beast stopped.

Thanks to Tripwire for finding the note in the owner's manual.  After playing around some more, I find that the power steering does still work, even if the car has stalled.  Moreover, one can shut the car off when moving by pushing the start button twice.  It can then be restarted by putting car in neutral, and pushing the start button.  FYI.

I thought every automatic car could be started when shifting the gear lever into Neutral whilst moving, and hitting the starter.

You do have to push the button twice.
