My 57 Eldo (parked since 79) is finally on the road and I'm slowly resolving all the issues one by one.

The driver's side FRONT brake drum was warped due to (what appears to be) the PO hammering installing new wheel studs.
It was seized and unable to roll if the lug nuts were torqued where they should be, but I pulled it off and straightened it out "pretty good", at least enough to drive around town without issues.  The problem is that it makes a little noise while rolling, especially while braking and turning.

I'd rather buy a new pair of front brake drums and possibly new hub/bearing assembly while I'm at it.

Is the 57 drum and hub assembly one year only or will the interchange with other years ?
What is the best source to find a quality set ?

Thank You

Take Gene up on his offer before you lock up your front brakes. You'll never get it back to normal. Good Luck!

Guys,
I suggest you check the interchanges before you start sending heavy parts around the country.

Yes, I'm not an expert on 57's, but I think 57-59 are the same, but not 56......

Unfortunately, the hub and drum are specific for 1957, but 58 to 59 Serie 75 & CC used the same assembly. 1958 and 59 drum & hubs have different wheel bearings.
