Apparently the body shop lost them and now I need them. I am considering having a sheet metal shop produce them but would prefer originals.

I am not sure which years would fit but I am sure someone with a parts book will chime in with that information.

I made up a mold many years ago Gary and got my own pressed out absolutely authentic like the originals because they all rust away, sadly I don't have the use of the press facilities at Aerospace in Bristol I used to.

Gary, According to the MPB those pieces are '42 67 Series specific. I guess as 67 Series owners we have gotten used to that by now.      Harry

Thanks Harry, I was going to call you today but you just answered my question. Guess I will be having them made. Not very visible anyway.

Thanks for the response everybody. Steve your comment is so spot on especially since so few cars were built in 1942.  There were less than a thousand series 67 built in 1942 and the new flared "Pontoon" style sides definitely have an effect on these pans.

I would appreciate any drawings, pictures or any other information about them also so I can manufacture them locally.

These are the things that can drive you crazy towards the end of a project

NEW INFORMATION

I think the splash pans from any of the above years would work. If you have any of them please contact me. I have a loaner for a pattern and another that is all rusted out but the fabricators I have discussed this with put a pretty high price on fabricating them.  They are not side specific except that if they are for the drivers side they will have  a hole for the gasoline filler pipe.  Widest width is 10-1/4 inches and height is 21-1/4  inches. I can trim or weld on pieces if necessary if I can find something similar.

I can email pictures if you think you have something I can use or you can email me pictures also.     garygriffin@Q.com      is my email address.

DISREGARD BELOW HERE
Since I have been unable to find these I am lucky because another 1942  6719 owner who is planning on restoring his later will be sending me one of his splash pans and I will use it to fabricate something similar. Interestingly enough they are identical on both sides except for the hole for the gas filler line.  I would have thought they would be mirror images of each other.  They appear to cross the cavity on a diagonal rather than straight across.  I would still rather find replacements but this will have to do. They are stamped into a  shape and I do not have access to a stamp so I will have to get them formed with an English wheel. Gonna be costly little bits but still need them so gotta do it. The joys of restorations.

Can you post a photo of the area where the parts goes?  I bought a cache of parts and there are some '41  parts in the mix.  I call it a filler piece between the rear  bumper and rear end panel that I have that is a solid piece.  The seller told me this is normally a hard part to find, so maybe it is what you are looking for.

David,

I call the piece between the bumper and the body a valance but I do not know the official name for it.

I am looking for the sheet metal pieces that are inside the fenders and divide the wheel area from the taillight area. They are sort of a bulkhead. They are not normally visible.
