1939-1940 garnish moulding

For a 1940 7567 I need the small angled plate that covers the gap between the ends of the windshield garnish moulding at the top.
It is not the screw on type as there is no hole in the windshield frame. Rather it seems to have been snapped on originally.
I'll accept a screw on just the same as it is no problem to drill a small hole into the frame to fix it.
Attached is a picture of the present bead blasted condition.

They should be screw on Hilmar, you can see the corresponding hole in the left hand side of your molding to avoid the screw. I might (and I stress "Might") have one but I need the exact profile to be sure.

Hello Steve,
nice to hear from you, again.
The problem is that one of my predecessors in the "restoration" of the 75 had changed the instrument panel as well as the garnish moulding for another 39 or 40 onefor no known reason.
Brad Ipsen told me that for the 1940 75 convertible there was a unique instrument board as far as the sides and the top go, and I think the garnish moulding was different, too. The one I have sat too tightly and I had to bend it in places in order to make it fit. An angled piece of brass was glued into the gap instead of the cover piece.
At any rate, there is no hole in the frame where it would and should be if the gap to avoid the screw were on the original garnish moulding.
As I wrote I'll take a screw-on one as well and drill a small hole, even if not original, to cover the gap  to hold it.
I'll send a profile of the moulding as soon as I get to the garage to take a picture.
