Mr cadillac

Maybe Maybe interested. I am looking for a spare for the trunk of my 71 Eldorado Convertible. But I want the bigger tire not like the smaller spare donut I have on my 77 Deville, and my 88 Brougham. Not wanting to spend a tremendous amt. I could get rim/used tire at my local tire store very reasonable. What are you asking?

Greg. Any idea cost on shipping to NJ 07722?  I could use it.

Thanks Greg.  Is that FedEx Ground?  Not in a hurry for it so would take the lowest cost shipping option....is UPS Ground better?  What does this weigh all together?

Greg. Did you get my PM?  You mentioned that you were about to "donate" this as there were no takers. I offered $125 including shipping along with inquiring about some AC parts. Let me know if it did not come through. Thanks.

I have found shipping by Greyhound is pretty good for larger and heavier items. Have shipped differential pumpkins in milk crate and upholstery all seats from H Scott to me also. Pick up is at your closest Greyhound station. Much cheaper then Fedex or UPS.

I live at the end of a 6 home private community driveway and  Fedex drivers regularly run off the road and break sprinkler heads and solar lawn lights which I place at the sprinkler heads to identify their location.  UPS no problem but I think FEDEX drivers consider my lights to be targets.

Thanks Gary and great idea for the future. It seems that its not worth the hassle for the seller for the price in this case as my Best Offer was turned down. I can understand that based on the packing troubles alone. Sometimes these big and heavy parts require such shipping prep time and the material and shipping costs surpass the time value for a seller unless it is local or ultra rare and a buyer is willing to pay up.

After digging out the one I have for the Eldo and Mirage it turns out I actually only need a RWD space saver and not this FWD one so it worked out in the long run.
