I got 64 miles on the odometer. I am a garage kept, one owner and in good condition person, projecting the appearance and abilities of an under 50 mile person. Hopefully my owner (the man above) will keep me till I hit 100.
I have two Cadillac’s a 1978 McClain 2 door flower car and 1979 Coupe Deville.

If I added this right up right so far the average is 55.22 years.
I got myself a Cadillac but I can't afford the gasoline (AC/DC Down Payment Blues)

Well I can throw a Cadillac wrench into that figure.  I'm 73.  Bought a 1940 Buick Super in about 1964 and the 41 Cadillac in 1974.  Still restoring it although I did several other cars along the way.  It's a long familiar story on the Caddy but I'm on it now and bent on finishing IT before I am finished.

I wonder if there is a correlation between our age and the age of the Cadillac we gravitate towards?  Seems like that would be a neat study, but that would have to assume one person doesn't have multiple years of cars.

34 here. Always have been a Chevy/GM/Cadillac girl. Growing up in Detroit, I remember seeing my dad drive 18 wheelers for Cadillac before he eventually went into the truck driving business for himself. He was a Caddy guy. He had a 72 Deville and eventually sold it. I've always been into cars and trucks, it's just in my blood having so many family members working for the Big 3 auto makers....Now that I am an adult and can buy my own toys, I'm absolutely in love with my '66 Coupe Deville.

32 here. Been a Caddy man since I was a youngster. 8) My first car I bought back when I was 19 was a 72 Cadillac Sedan Deville. All my friends thought I was crazy to buy such an old car, but I didn't care. I owned it for 2 years as my daily driver since I hated, and still can't stand small cars. Sold it and picked up a 68 Coupe Deville. Loved that car! It had 19 inch wire wheels on it, and was super low to the ground. It wasn't my daily since it was too nice of a car, just a cruiser on the weekends or whenever I felt like going for a drive. I sold the 68 a long time ago, but now finally own a 64 Cad Deville and a 94 Fleetwood Bro.

I just love my 64, out of all the 60's Cadillacs, this was one of the years I had my eyes on just because it resembles the 59 and 60 Cads but in a much more toned down version. The front ends is where the resemblance is, and to me the 63-64's are one of the coolest, cleanest, and most stylish Cadillac's of the 60's.

68 in July.  First vehicle was a 51 GMC 3/4 pick up with split rim wheels.  Had to have help lifting that one.  First Cadillac was a 88 Brougham 307 V8.  Loved it.  Just starting my last (?) restoration now, a 68 convertible.

Take the age of the car and add 16.  The sum will be in the ballpark in terms of the owner's age.

Dave, you are close on that one.I was born in 1940, and I got my drivers license in 1956, and had mostly Pre War cars (Except for secret hidden 49 Buick I was not supposed to have) the first few years, but loved the earlier models and the 50's cars.

I think Dave Yaros' formula is probably pretty close, although 13 or 14 might be more accurate.  Didn't you already have a buy list before you turned 16?  Also, there are outliers like me, where the rule would be subtract 1-4 years.
