Caddy generation categories

Itd be nice to have sub-categories based on year or atleast generation, that way people who own the same years could help eachother rather than scroll through an issue with a 1935, then 1973, then 1957 etc.

The Cadillac club roster breaks it down into years and their owners Rob?

Oh wheres that?  Im new here, first day.

I just imagine sections on the front page for 50-53, 54-56, stuff like that.  Right now the only way I can tell is go to the tech or restoration link then search 1956.

You get the roster when you become a member of the Club. Are you a member?  What are you looking through at the moment?

Also, there are a lot of issues that span multiple "generations."  Power window and seat systems were pretty much unchanged for many years.  And issues about ethanol in gas and lack of zinc in oil affect everyone before a certain point. I'm not sure there's enough traffic on this board to warrant segregating by generations.

Steve, this post brings a question...I am a newer member who has not received a club roster! How long does this usually take?
Thanks

Hello CadillacRob,

In addition to the roster, a few "generations" of cars/owners have formed chapters that address issues particular to a "generation".  There is a 63/64 chapter, a 59/60 chapter, a Brougham chapter, etc.  You can find contact info for the various chapters by visiting the home page of the Cadillac LaSalle Club - http://www.cadillaclasalleclub.org/.

As far as I know, each new member gets a Directory with their welcome package. You might give our office managers a call and check on this. The # is 614-478-4622. Names are Mike/Nancy Book.

I did not get a directory with my package, so I'll call Mike. Thanks Barry.
