Does someone know "The Book of Fleetwood" that illustrates fourteen distinctive body types in each of the V-8 and V-12 lines?

I have found information and pics on the following web-page:
https://www.newcadillacdatabase.org/static/CDB/Dbas_txt/Phocad36.htm

I am especially interested in anything about the 1936 Cadillac Model 70 Body Fleetwood.

Many thanks in advance,
Bernard

Just out of curiosity, what was the difference between the 7513 and the 7533?

THanks Bernard for posting the link to the "Fleetwoods."  It brought to my mind those models that feature  the "rumble seat" as an option .  So what is the fading history of the "rumble seat"-- perhaps the pejorative "the mother-in-law seat" killed it?  Any one have pictures of a late model Cadillac with a custom rumble seat?  Cadillac has only offer two seat roadsters since the '85 convertible. Is there a not so subtle subtext that being seated in the back seat of an open convertible is as comfortable for the occupants as being relegated to a 1930's "mother-in-law" seat?   James

Bernard,

Fleetwood (owned by Cadillac in those years) published a Book of Fleetwood from 1928 through 1936, although probably not every model year. I am aware of these black-and-white books for 1928, 1929-30, 1932, 1933 (2 versions with V16 separate), 1934,1935, and 1936. The version for 1936 is rare and would likely sell for $300-$400 if you can find one; the last one sold on eBay went for $405 with shipping. The 1936 edition has embossed hard covers, 48 pages, and is 8.5x11. Of course it covers V8, V12, and V16 models.

Many thanks for these detailed information John. I am hoping that someone have scans in better quality then provided on the web-link. I would be happy to have just a copy from the original. But who knows maybe there is a chance that someone will sell this book someday ;-)
Many thanks again!

Tony,

The 7513 had a "slant"back (no trunk) and the 7533 had a trunk.

The picture shows these two with the same back.  Another model had the slant back I believe the 7503.

the 7513 and the 7533 appeared to be the same.  I wondered what the difference was?

Hi Yann

I am wondering if your book says something about the production figures of the 1936 Cadillac.
Especially about the 1936 Cadillac Model 70 Body Fleetwood 2 passenger coupe 7057?

Speaking of a "slant-back", I once had a small photo of Dave Ficken's  (Wiper guy) 1938 V-16 Town car. It had a plain back in the trunk area. I "think" Rob, his son, told me that they still have their dad's car.

I have the Fleetwood book written by Jim Schild.  It does not list production numbers for that model.  I assume Jim Schild's book (which is available) is different than the book veesixteen has.  I would be interested in to know what info is available to help me in the restoration of my '32 Fleetwood 5 passenger town coupe?  I need MUCH information.
