I was at SEMA in Las Vegas stopped at the COKER tire booth as they had a nice Eldorado convertible Black on Black 22,000 original miles.

They said that they are making the Firestone 721 tires for these late 70 Cars.

NO WAY in Heck those are Firestone 721 reproductions!

My 75 Eldorado had Firestone 721s on it and they are much wider!!!      Try again Coker.

Looks like from this original ad, they were made in the 3/4" size too, as stated in OP. Maybe they will eventually make in wider whitewall for 75 Eldo and others, but looks like they are correct, from ad, on other 70s cars.  Chuck

I have 700 16 bias wide whitewall ply tires on my Lasalle that are marked firestone. I bought them from performance tire in Los Angeles. They told me Coker bought all the old firestone molds and were producing them.

Maybe in smaller tire sizes.  But when you walked into a Firestone dealer and told them you needed P235 WWs for a Cadillac you only had the wide ones offered to you.   Maybe the 14 inch or P175 P185s came with narrow stripes.

That would be great.
I need a set for my 76 Eldo.
