Instrument Clusters differences
« on: November 14, 2017, 03:17:01 PM »
I was wondering if anybody knows if you can substitute certain instrument clusters for others.  I need an instrument cluster for a 1988 El Dorado.  Maybe one from another year will work fine...I don't know.  Maybe somebody can assist me with this issue.  Thanks a lot.

Is yours digital?    Standard issue USA or you need a metric one?

All Eldo/Seville instrument cluster is digital 1986-1991. Can't comment on model year compatibility.

This may work. Seller says for diesel but not the case as there was no diesel engine after 1985 and this style cluster is for Seville/Eldorado beginning 1986.

"Premium Fuel Only" stated on gauge beginning 1990 so this cluster is 1986-1989.
