Anyone know the story on series numbers in 1959?  They took a lot of cars out of Series 62, but put them right back in there in 1960.  They also changed the series number for Fleetwood 75s to 67, but changed that back also in 1960.  (Does this mean there really is no such thing as a 1959 Fleetwood 75?)

Series designations remained the same 59-60. Series 67 was used internally until 1964 although the cars were still officially remained "Series 75" for all other purposes. (1965 Series 75 received new "69" internal designation although it still retained the 1964 body.)

I checked my 1960 shop manual supplement, and it shows the series numbers returning to mostly what they were in 1958, except it doesn't list a Series number for Eldorado Brougham or Commercial Chassis.  The Style numbers seem to have carried over from 1959, though, with De Villes being 63xx and 2 door Eldorados being 64xx, and Fleetwood 75s being 67xx.  But it clearly lists all De Villes and 2 door Eldorados as Series 62 for 1960.
