Title: 1937 Cadillac 7019 parts for sale
Post by: Edward Hurst on August 07, 2017, 01:28:09 PM
I have a right and left rear fenders for sale for a 1937 Cadillac 7019.  Both very usable but the right side is best. $300 for the pair.

Dual side mount covers, no rust.  $100 each.  Have been painted with POR 15 to make sure they stay rust free.  I also have the stainless trim for the side mounts but have been chrome plated by Advance Plating in Nashville, TN.    Absolutely beautiful!  Will try to add pictures later.

I have 4 original wheels for a 7019 series.  Been sitting outside for many years.  FREE! Last time I checked the shipping would be about $30 per wheel.  If no one wants them they will go to scrap and I would rather not do that.

Possibly have other small items, feel free to ask.

Look into shipping by Greyhound station to station. If you pre print your own labels with routing as per their website , it is very cheap. I sent 4 huge heavy 1924 Cadillac tires across the country for 70 something bucks. Love those '37 Cads. I have had one too few of them. A 65 sedan , and a 75 7 passenger.   - Carl

Guys, remember there are differences between series and years where wheels are concerned. The 37 70 has a different part number from the 75 series and different numbers for the 38 to 40. Could be differences in how they fit on the hubs, how the caps fit, stud numbers or width.

Steve,
My book suggests that 1937 Series 50, 60 and 70 wheels should be the same.  You agree?  Thanks,  Ken Z

Guys...
If I read my MPL correctly, the wheel fits 1937 50 & 60 series commercial chassis  & 65/70 series cars. Anyone else??
Bob

You're absolutely right Bob. Sharper eyes than me!  Edwards wheels from the 70 series will only fit the 50 and 60 commercial chassis.  So no good for the smaller cars. I had concerns about this as I always thought the big series are 6 studs are they not? whereas my 60 series is 5.  They may also be wider for bigger tyres?    Stands to reason they would use the suspension and wheels from the big series for the commercial cars.
Thanks for studying that Bob.

Bob and Steve,
I have attached the page from my MPL and I now fully understand the wheel thing.  Was not sure if they were somewhat interchangeable. Thanks,  Ken Z

Mr. Farley, the last post in this thread (before yours) was 2 1/2 years ago.  The original poster, Ed Hurst, hasn't been here since last August.  You might try a PM.
