Bob,
Nice to hear you're looking for a Cadillac.  Do you have any other preferences regarding your purchase?  Sedan, Convertible, Coupe?   Any must haves, can't have's, etc?  Pre-war / Post-war?

Inquiring minds want to know..

Hi, Prefer prewar with running boards and gearshift on the floor, so that would limit me to 1937 and probably a sedan or coupe, but really I would consider any 1937-1948 sedan or coupe. I'm not too concerned if radio and clock aren't working, but all engine instruments, water, oil, ammeter, gas gauges and speedometer need to be functional. I'm not looking for any major system repairs or having to crawl under the car for major repair. Too much arthritis, scoliosis, and candles on the cake if you get my drift.

36 was also a flathead V8 Bob so that gives you two years at least with floor change.

I didn't realise you were a retired copper? ;)

Lucky for me, we never had any donut shops down here, but that didn't stop me from expanding.
