Here is a non-blue car that caught my eye (I seem to be drawn to blue Cadillacs, hmmm)...

We saw your gorgeous car!  But with Josh & Emma (from Nova Scotia) attending a GN for their first time, we were running around like kids in a candy shop.

Here's an exceptional 1992 Eldorado Touring Coupe. It is the only Eldorado Touring Coupe of this generation with 4.9 Liter; all subsequent model years had Northstar (Touring Coupe).

I cannot recall the last time I saw a 1992 Eldorado as immaculate as this.

Dave and Eric,

Thanks for your efforts [probably pleasurable] with the great pictures!! I sure wish I could have been there, and I bet a bunch of others feel the same. What a beautiful gathering of Cadillacs and Lasalles and beautiful weather besides!!

Thanks,

Don

Do you think both of those are Persian Sand?

My "guess" is no.

Those two colors are too different.

I will say this. Had a friend, a long time CLC Member who owned a 59 Eldo in Perian sand. It had one repaint. He has passed and the car is now in hands if another collector with a very discriminating eye who I do not have permission to use his name. The original owner, a personal friend, was a stickler for all things being correct,  even in paint. Assuming he was correct, these two cars presented, of the two, the one on right in the photo I will say is closer to the actual color. The one on keft, to much brown, with all due respect . Having seen my departed friends car, touched it and driven it i can say the car on right is what I remember Persian sand to be. Approaching these two cars,at Nationals side by side that was my impression right away. Both were gorgeous, no question. But in my view, the one on right was more correct. IMHO.

Having seen a couple of original paint Persian Sand cars, I'd say most definitely the lighter one is the correct color.

The one in the foreground could be Wood Rose Poly?

Not Woodrose either which is close to pink.

Not sure what happened there either. To my eyes, it looks very similar to #97 "Cameo Rosewood Firemist" of 1975. (Not to be confused with #78 "Rosewood" which appears darker.)

It does have its original convertible roof and the interior is all original with buckets. Very rare to see a '59 EBZ with an interior this well preserved. Can't be more than a handful like this on the planet. Hope someone got a photo of it. It's amazing.

Ha!    A couple I had to grab from Peter Gariepy and Josh Noiles to fill gaps of ones I missed or came out blurry.
