Vacuum Door Locks

Vacuum door locks are driving me nuts. Doors will lock but not unlock. Tested the remote valve (Fig. 15-20 in Service manual) and found that I get vacuum on the yellow (lock) side, but not the orange side (unlock). I conclude that the remote valve is defective or stuck inside (can't easily get it apart as it is braded together). I put glycerin in it to try to loosen it up, but to no avail.
Am I missing something here...could the issue be elsewhere? Does someone have a replacement remote valve (made by TRICO)?

I'd try penetrating oil and tap it in all directions while applying vacuum from a vacuum pump.  Might free it up.
