Great wagons, my thoughts go to an old TV show where a millionaire had what he thought was the only remaining special stamp, he spent a small fortune buying one that came to light and then he burned it so he still had the only one.

Holy cow.

I missed the opportunity to buy 2 of them when they went up for sale in california a few years back.

Looks like its time to tell the wife that we really don't need that 401K and buy these instead.

P.M. sent.

Gary-

Do you think I could get much more for one if I burned up the other 2....lol

It would be more exclusive for sure. I know there are only a handful of 1942 -6719,s  and I have 2 of them and I will scrap one when the parts are salvaged but only because there arent any parts available to restore it. Not as rare as yours though. Really nifty wagons, too bad they arent restored yet. I would be willing to do one but 3 are too big of a bite for me.

Good luck on your auction

Gary,  Did one of your 1942 6719s come from Shawnee, OK?  There was one at a "museum" there for decades and it disappeared last year.

No, one came from Utah and the other one (parts car) came from Pennsylvania. If you look at my restoration blog you will see that when I started the "good one" it was not fit for a museum. Hopefully when it is completed it would be though, but more fun to drive the cars than just look at them.
