Thanks to a fortunate meeting this weekend at the SoCal Cadillac LaSalle meet in Lakewood with Chuck Patton I will soon have the long sought hand throttle assembly. Thanks Chuck!

I still need the Cigar Lighter. I just need the metal bits, the plastic can be deteriorated or even missing.

I'm still looking for the cigar lighter to move this project along. Anybody got a spare on your shelf you can do without?

Thanks to Chuck Patton I have the throttle slide so this is the last bit needed to finish the dashboard.

Here is a picture of a LaSalle dash that shows the cigar lighter part that I am looking for. It sure looks like the Cadillac & LaSAlle shared the same control parts for 1939 which means I can use Cadillac OR LaSalle parts.

When one is found get it. Took me 8 years to find one. Most of these, the plastic broke. You were fortunate finding the throttle in one piece.
