Making some progress cleaning up the drive shaft after I got it back from having universal joints installed. My question is: Can I purchase just the rubber bushing or do I have to purchase the support as well? Plus, anybody have a good source for which ever direction the answer takes me?
Thanks  a lot.

Have a look there: www.RubberTheRightWay.com They have the central bearing/support available. The bushing is vulanized to the support.

Your support bracket is a good core. The rubber is vulcanized to the support. It's the breaking away of  the rubber from the bracket that is the failure of the part.

Well Randy...Your remark apply to the 59-64 support. The '57 & '58 supports are physically different and don't look the same as the 59-64.

I thought the topic was referring to a 59 support.

You were thinking about yours.
The fact is that I replaced it by a NOS unit some years ago. I have the impression that it was an unnecessary replacement...
