best rubber bushings and other rubber products for a 1956 Cadillac restoration

TMoore - NTCLC

I think you will find that Steele Rubber makes most of the rubber products for your car, and their products are carried by a number of vendors.

Here is the Steele Rubber web page for the 1956 Series 62 Sedan (you can change the model selection on their home page)

http://www.steelerubber.com/search?year=1956&make=cadillac&model=series-62&style=4-door-sedan

Rubber the Right Way also lists a number of parts for your car:

These are just a couple of places - but there are others - let us know if you are having trouble finding a specific piece -

+1 on Steele Rubber.  I used their products for all the parts on my '55
restoration and I was not disappointed.  They are not the cheapest, but
the quality is very good.

I have also used and am very happy with Steele. The products all seem to fit very well and the service has been outstanding, with prompt shipping.

All rubber sold by RTRW (rubber the right way)  is Steele rubber except the flat rubber. They make most of the flat rubber for Steele. RTRW gives a military discount. Dave

Rubber the right way is in San Diego cal.  I did a lot of research on who makes and pricing.

Steel rubber makes most all of the rubber available.

Rubber the right way get most of there stock from Steele rubber, but also make a few of there own.

I found that because of buying power rubber the right way gets lower cost for bulk purchases, so they were actually cheaper than going to mfc, Steele rubber, and rtrw also has bulk discounts also to buyer, at least I did.
There is one more company that makes rubber for Cadillacs is called "Metro"
