I would like pay homage to Richard Muehlmann, Cadillac & LaSalle Club Member #2872.  He recently made his transition after a long illness.  This gentleman was not just a CLC  member but a LaSalle Aficionado.  He exemplified our constitution purpose "to promote social fellowship among the Club members".  Kind, gentle and soft spoken he owned many cars but the LaSalle brand was his favorite.  This was illustrated by the 13 LaSalle automobiles that he shared with a stranger, highlighting the LaSalle he purchased at 14 years old and restored twice.

He was immensely proud of his of collection but generous and humble with his knowledge.  A knock on his door or the ring of the phone at any time of day would be received with glee, if the word "LaSalle" was the precipitator.  He was a perfect example for the Standard of the World owner.  I would wager that he has already started his next LaSalle restoration.   It was an honor and priviledge to know you.  Gratitude for your wonderful life Richard Muehlmann.

Thanks for your nice tribute to Richard.  He was a member of our St. Louis Region for many years and was a true gentleman.  He was host for several of our monthly meetings and we all enjoyed looking at his outstanding collection of LaSalles and Packards. George Bergen, St. Louis Region Secretary
