G'day all,

Is anyone aware of any fastening kits that might be out there for 1960 model cars?

I am assisting a fellow with a '60 Convertible, series 62, and we are needing everything in the way of nuts, bolts, screws, trim clips, etc, to reassemble the vehicle after it has been repaired and painted.

When stripping the car down, we saved everything, and there is not much left of the correct original fastenings, as the car had been "butchered" over the years, and many bolts broke as they were being undone, had to be cut off, or simply downright ugly.

Plus, many of the spring nuts, and caged nuts were rusted beyond re-use, and the trim clips also rusted and broken.

Even the trip clips across the top of the windscreen spun, and couldn't be undone without destroying them.

There are going to be more stuff required, so if anyone has a good supply of other parts, including door wiring switches and wiring that they might be willing to part with, please contact me.

Thanks,

Bruce. >:D

Never heard of any kits but try Restoration supply for individual parts.  Biggest supply of clips I ever saw.
