When I was a teenager in Indy, there was a lady politician that had an identical car. Other than that, I have no interest in the car.

As mentioned above, I just noticed that it does not have the "extra" chrome on the back fender that the '53 60S had. Hah, I caught it before anyone caught me up.

I believe you're right, looks like a '52.  Dagmars are different, front parking/directionals are different between those years.

Gentlemen,

It's a 1950 according to the unadorned grille extensions under the headlights.

The red car Barry has pictured is not a '50 according to the front bumper guards (Dagmars on the '52) and the headlight rings --- assuming everything we are looking at is stock configuration.  Sticking with '52.   ;D

Haha, its a tricky one.  The grill extensions are definitely 50, the dash cluster, front bumper, steering wheel and rear tail lights are 51-52. If the rear bumper has the exhaust ports, it would be a 52, no ports 51.

On second look I stand corrected and believe '52 is the correct year.......Gold medallions under headlights may just be missing. The other identifying features shown appear to fit '52. The gray tweed fabric on the door and kick panel and the gold painted insert on the dash indicate it may have seen some shade tree "restortion"

An odd one for sure.   Maybe this was Johnny Cashs' one piece at a time Cadillac?   LOL

Here is a front end reference:

Yes, it is a 1952, but without the gold "wings" below the headlights.

Thanks, Dave, for posting the four photos of grills. Note that 1950 and 1953 photos do not have the optional fog lamps, whereas the 1951 and 1952 do have them. The 1952 60S that is for sale has them. But its paint is not a 1952 Cadillac color.

This Fleetwood 60S looks pretty nice in general for a $12,500 car. It would be interesting to check it out and learn more about it.

I thought it pretty reasonable is why I put it up. And as for the color, as I said, there was a "real" '53 60S in the same red color in Indy when I was running around downtown on my lunch hours back in the late fifties. The lady was a pol and parked it on the street near the courthouse from time to time. I would guess that the cop on the beat left it strictly alone.

P.S. Don't those "dollar grins" look happy in the large front end photos?
