Hi,

You maybe have already read my post about my first restoration project.

Since my young time, I love Cadillac.
I met the first one in a friend's garage. I was 8.
He owned 1954 and 1957 Eldorado convertible. The 54 has been sold early, but the 57 stay in my childhood memories from 1982 to 2010.

When I was 13, I saw a "new member's car" on our local classic cars club. It was a 1958 Eldorado Seville, just imported from USA, in Dakota Red with red/white interior. I was in love.
That car stay my dream forever. I dreamed about this car during 25 years. In 2014, I bought a 58 Eldorado in California, my first project car.

But, recently, in 2017, a friend from the Cadillac Club, talk me because he had recovered the car ... the genuine car of my childhood's dream. The one.
The 58 Eldorado Seville was still as beautiful as in the past. I bought it (that's why I had sold my project car).

I didn't know that this exemple (body 481) was a really fully optioned car. Air Conditioner, Autronic Eye, but also Air Ride Suspension and power door locks.
30 years later, the dream comes true, thanks to CLC friend.
I also "received" a parts car, body 612 (the only one 58 Seville sold new in Belgium and abandoned in a garden in 1977).

This winter, I will clean all the engine bay.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too all Cadillac enthusiast's.

I have restored the radio and added an Aux input, as a Phono (for my 45-RPM player).
All works as factory. All still mechanic.
