I see it's back on eBay.  A bargain if it is all legit?

Steve,
It HAS to be a scam.....Who wouldn't purchase that car?  ::)

I think it's listed at a different location from the original ad. That car gets around!  ::)

Believe we have discussed a scam here before involving a '49 Cadillac convertible and the "seller" was in Washington state also, don't remember if it was Port Angeles or not.

Four hundred bucks isn't bad pay for posting an ad... What annoys me is these people thinking that we don't know values, or even "know" about a particular car. If I were going to try something like this, there are thousands of pictures of cars on the web. Why use the same one twice? And this particular person is at the "end" of the country where anywhere he'd send the car for "free" is going to be the highest rate possible. That's what's annoying. The scammer thinking we're all that stupid.

Right.  But the scam isn't directed at us (CLC members or other car nuts) in particular, it is an eBay listing aimed at a very large audience, many (most?) of whom have no idea about car values and those that think they are getting a steal at someone else's expense/bad fortune.

Ended again already. definitely something going on.  Hope he's got the FBI on his tail. Oddly enough, he has half tidy feedback?

All the feedback is for buying activities, not selling and it's all over six months old.  I suspect the account has been hijacked.
