Just had a good experience from Tim Groves of http://www.cadillactim.com TARGET=_blank>www.cadillactim.com who specialises in 67/68 Caddies.

Acquired turn signal switch from Tim for my 68 Calais and the steering has never felt so good.

Great service, received part in just over 1 week from Sth Carolina. He even rang me (midnight his time) to tell me i could pay with my Visa.

Definately worth a try.

Yes! Tim has been a fantastic person to do business with! He customer service is like in the old days when shop keepers gave each customer full attention until the completion of the sale.

Peter, I couldnt have said it better if I tried!  Tim Groves is an honest guy, a gentleman, who is more than willing to help you with a part, or even troubleshooting. He rebuilt a part of mine and returned it to me in the next days mail!  Ralph Messina told me about him and Im indebted to Ralph for it.  Tims a pleasure to talk to and deal with.  Too bad every vendor and parts house doesnt operate like Cadillac Tim!

Cadillac Tim is still around and active.  I’m not sure why his web site is down.  He will probably respond to this thread soon.  If not search for his profile (cadillactim) on this site.  Click on the envelope icon and you can email him.

Hope he's still at it! If we were to lose him and Bob Cooper... that's a couple great resources covering a few eras of the marque.

Hmm, I'm thinking I might need one of those. Thanks for the recommendation!
