I need a pair of 1940 cadillac headlight housings without rust-out. They hold water. 1940 uses a sealed beam, as opposed to 1939 which uses a reflector and bulb. One headlight pod stainless trim strip without dents would be good too. John Walker, Seattle, 206 seven89 sixty800.

John,
I think I have one and believe they are the same for 40 and 41 ... not sure.  Do you know?

Not the same in 41 Joe. Lights were fully in the fenders by then.

John,
Joe B here, I am the fellow you bought the 41 Caddy front seat.  I think the bucket I have is a 40 but not sure, can you provide a picture and send to me at joe.b@wi.rr.com.  I will compare and if it matches I will send you a picture of the one I have.
