37 LaSalle Coupe Seat Tracks

Just like the title says, I need front seat tracks for my car.

I have no idea why, but someone butchered in a set of non original seat tracks.  Made quite a mess.

Might be interested in the whole seat if not willing to part with just the tracks.

I have most parts of a set.  I don't have the long rod that connects each side but this could be made up fairly easily.
You have to consider shipping from UK though?.

I would be interested if I can't come up with something closer.
What would prompt someone to replace something like a seat track?

Perhaps they changed the whole seat? or they couldn't adjust it back enough on the original tracks?

First make sure you have the correct seat. Then, contact the guy in Florida & offer him some SERIOUS  money to remove the tracks from the seats he's trying to give away & send them  to you.  Do it by PM. Keep us posted.

As far as I can tell I have the correct seats. How can I verify that?

The pictures I have seen look just like my seats.

I was wondering if the little Cadillac that year was the same.

Problem with that Bob is that there are no tracks as such. Half the parts attach to the floor and the other half under the seat. No-one ever saves the floor parts. there are two towers with wheels that sit on the floor at the rear and roll back and forth in channels fixed to the seat, then there are two more channels with teeth that cogged wheels locate in either side connected by a steel rod.

Bill, yes, the same as the small series Cadillac and also 40 and 60 series Buick's and Pontiac's.

Can you show pictures of your seat detail to determine if you do have the correct one?

I'm pretty sure that I do. There is a 37 that showed up on Ebay today that is said to be original, and mine look just like them.

I will try to post a picture when I get home today.
