Dad in 1932. In 1958 he would become a proud owner of a 1932 LaSalle Town Sedan which he still has and drives.
David,
Extraordinary chronicle.
Thanks for the family glimpse.
That is how a Cadillac should be enjoyed - driven - no matter what the age (car & driver).
Have fun,
Steve B.
Great LaSalle. I especially like the big squarish 4-door sedans from the late 1920s and early '30s.
Need to have those 2 pictures lined up on your mantle.
Thanks for sharing.
Jeff
Handsome car. I think the 1930s club sedans are among the best looking ever. I'm envious.
THIS just pins the 'cool' meter! 8)
Laurie!
Thanks all,
This is how it starts:-) The 32 was the first car I ever worked on. When I was about 11 I helped him do a valve job. We drove it all over the Northeast, still do, but now instead of him driving us I drive him. Las summer when out to Long Island and drove back through Queens. We took a tour of the old neighborhood and house where he grew up.

DaveZ,
How blessed and fortunate you and your father are. To have shared such memories for decades and celebrate them even now. I am happy for you.....and just a bit envious of the relationship! The LaSalle is only the icing.
