Title: 1939 Lasalle Front Seat
Post by: Grumpys Hot Rods on January 08, 2018, 07:33:06 AM
Recently bought a 39 Lassalle in good shape but need a front seat.  Is there another any other options?   I would use just about anything so I could make this car a driver.

That car uses the GM "B" body used in 1939 and 1940 by Pontiac, Olds, and Buick Special/Century. You should be able to find a seat from one of these makes as there are lots more of them "out there" than LaSalle. (Probably cheaper as well.)

Is it a coupe or a sedan as they are completely different? A coupe seat is on eBay at the moment in really poor shape.

Try Dave Tachney in MN. 763-427-3460    He dismantles nothing but 37/38 Buicks. Those seats should fit in your car.
