The unshielded slide-on terminals indicate those wires are grounds. The white plastic piece to the right of the picture looks to be a broken in-line fuse holder, so we might be talking add-on accessory, factory or aftermarket. The small wire with the yellow connector should have that yellow connector replaced with an 18-22 red connector --- just asking for a broken wire there. Sorry I can't be any more help than that.
If I had to make an educated guess - generator to voltage regulator harness. This is one of the few locations where an in-line fuse was used. The inline fuse was for the generator light in the dash.
Ah! Good guess.
Plus, the terminals definitely look like the ones used on a Generator and Voltage Regulator.
If this wiring is in a car that has an Alternator replacing the Generator, then these wires would have been removed, and the Alternator wired up in the normal way when bypassing the Voltage Regulator.
Bruce. >:D
thank you
will look at the diagram
still, a generator but everything has been a disconnect by the previous owner so more question to come ;D
