1937 LaSalle coupe

Hello everyone. My head light reflectors are tarnished on my '37 LaSalle. Can these be polished and made as shiny like new? If not has anyone ever had them chrome plated? Seems chrome plating would be more durable than silvering. Can someone recomend a product that would restore the original luster of the silver plate? Thanks... John Lehman... CLC # 26365...

Hello John...I've never used them but I've heard from others that Uvira, Inc . of Merlin, OR at 541-474-5050 has a coating process more durable than re-silvering, and perhaps equal in reflective quality . They might be worth talking to ? bb

If you want headlights to work and last Uvira is the way to go.  The headlight will be about the same brightness as 6 volt sealed beams.  They have to be nickel plated first before you send them to Uvira.
