1978 Fleetwood Eldorado's with Power T-TOPS

Hello,

I was so happy to see the 78 Eldorado Power T-Top thread.

My 1978 Fleetwood Eldorado Custom Biarritz with Power T-Tops was a beautiful luxury liner with its flawless, yet thoroughly under powered by its 7.0 litre Cadillac 425 CID V-8 with 180 Horses under the bonnet. As Owners' of any pre-downsized Eldorado's and Cadillac's of this vintage, I'm sure you all would agree that these 5,000 plus behemoths did not handle highway exits at speeds greater than 15 MPH and that cloverleaf exits should never be attempted at any speed greater than 5 MPH. Even with the non-ABS four wheel disks brakes, my 78 Eldorado still fished tailed almost as badly as my 67 Fleetwood Eldorado with its four wheel drum brakes all around.

I was going to share my cumulative knowledge on the Power T-Top Eldorado's, unfortunately what I had published on the internet was apparently deleted and I cannot currently find my computer files.
