Looking for some guidance on the layout of the pressure side hydraulic tubing in the firewall area.  I appear to have developed a weeping leak that is running under the carpet pad.  Some general manual diagrams suggest there may be a T fitting on the firewall inside near the pump, but I have not found one yet.  Is there one there?  Is it behind the carpet, or up higher behind the firewall pad?  If behind the firewall pad, is there an 'easy' way to get there w/o taking everything off in the area, like heater & vent systems?  Hoping someone else has chased this type of thing before and can help!

Just learning about 49's but here is a picture of the tee fitting you may be looking for.  I didn't take the firewall pad off myself but I think it is under it.  This picture is of a Coupe DeVille but I would assume this firewall area would be the same.

here's another picture of that area taken at the disassembly of a 1952 60Special.
I am posting it because Brads 1949 is a coupé and mine, though a 1952, is a 60 S like yours, so there might be a difference in the layout of the tubes and hoses and the position of the tee.
