Hello community,
maybe you can help me. I would like to put the original air compreesor back into operation. I don´t find on the engine block no connection option for the oil line to the compressor, only holes for the return. Can someone tell me where these lines were originally connected; good photos would be very helpful. Thanks for help

I am sure that someone will have the definitive information.  Going from memory (my cars are snowed in the garage right now) there are two small threaded plugs in the block.  On on the top surface near the intake manifold and one in the front.  There are two small hoses that have both ends flared with fittings and rubber in the center for flexing.  On the non air ride cars these are plugged.

I am restoring a 60 Seville and keeping it on Air Ride.  I have a set of hoses I will be sending to Inline Tube and they said that they would make me a set and then add the item to their product line.  This was about 2 years ago so maybe they already started making them?

Good luck with your restoration.  I may have some parts if you need anything.

I found a photo of my 60 Seville engine after cleaning and paint.

You can see the fittings for the Air Ride compressor on the front.  Looks like one on the top of the block and one in the head.

See below.

That picture is a good one for John Washburn to look at.   Shows another placement for the heater hoses.

But I'm not sure if this is correct. Years ago, I overhauled a '62 engine; this motor still had those brackets, but I don't remember how exactly they were attached. Most probably not that way.

That's a 22,000 mile engine out of a 60 Seville.  That hose holder was attached to the valley cover but it spins around so it may have been facing the other side but it's attached to the cover.
