It was 1987 when I restored my '76 Eldo.  Fortunately, some (30) years later, I find myself doing the restoration once again.  Although far from perfect, I'm most happy with the results!  Interior and body exterior has all been addressed.  New ragtop is in the immediate future, and since I returned to the 1976 origional Black disc wheel inserts, I'm entertaining the idea of a Black Hartz cloth top.  Not only for contrast, but for flexibility beyond what the canvas top offers.  Any thoughts on my restoration project?  Joe Albanese

On the yellow car, a black top will look much better than the tan. (I had a '76 Fleetwood in the same combination. Black top and ? Cape Ivory? body.)

Thank you for your comments.  As for the suggestion of a black top, I'm leaning that direction.  Wish I could see a picture of your Fleetwood with the aforementioned color scheme.
