1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. Fully restored, two-door convertible. All original, no rust. Showing 20,691 miles. VIN 60E009001.  All functional.  Power top works.  Electric windows work.  It is missing linkage for cruise control (no rod).

Is that 1/99 with bucket seats or 1/101?  ::) :o ;D

Green?    Looks like Heather to me.

Bob Hoffmann CLC#96

What  the data plate say & is it a repaint?? Also... in looking at the color description in the MPL, it NEVER mentions poly anything!!

If the car was really nice and if the interior was all leather and IF the mileage was real, $68,000 is a steal for a bucket seat Eldorado.

Maybe that's what happens when you let farm equipment auctioneers sell a car like that. I think we've seen similar situations in the past.

Bob,
I've also seen the other side of that. Cars going for WAY more than they were worth. Also at Farm Auctions.....

The $68K for that car was really a steal.  About 10
years ago, I ran across a bucket seat 60 Eldo convertible
that needed a total restoration.  At the time, I was thinking
about restoring one since I do like that year, especially with
buckets.

The guy wanted $80K for the car.  I passed on it and he sold
it the next day for his asking price.

I pulled one out of a garage 10 years ago and paid a lot of money for it.  It was a one owner 60,000 mile car, white with red bucket seat interior.  All options except A/C.  The original owner did not want A/C.

On original bags and everything on the car worked.  Sold it for $70,000.  Needed paint and chrome.

The auction car in this thread, if original with those miles is easily worth $115,000 of more.  So for the winning bidder, he's a lucky guy.

If it is a non original color I think that does hurt the top resale value in my opinion.   But if the car is as nice as it looks in the photos that was a good buy!

I normally shy away from color change cars but that Heather color is hard to look away from.

Eric DeVirgilis CLC# 8621

Color change or not, the car was an absolute steal. Standing by for the eBay flip...
