Bump to top and a change of tack. How about a swap?
If you're anything like me, you really don't want to sell your stash of spare parts, but you might be willing to swap.
So if you have a NOS or good used Delco Remy vacuum advance 1116150, is there something in this list you might want to swap for it?

1074  fog lamp bulbs NOS
5950056  tail light lenses in box NOS
GF124  AC fuel filter & gaskets in box NOS
GF12    Hastings fuel filter & gaskets in box NOS
P115 AC oil filters & gaskets in box NOS
1473914  water pump, lightly used
1107657 Delco Remy starter & 111910 DR solenoid, used
5640221  AC fuel gauge, used
1513649  AC temp gauge, used
Cadillac script vanity mirror, clips to sun shade  NOS
'59 Eldorado hub caps centres, no cracks, light scratches, used
'59 chromed blisters, small scratches, used
'59 left / right rear level actuator with arms, used
'59 fog lamp lenses, pitted, used
vintage Selfgard seat belts, red, no mounting hardware in box NOS
vintage Sears Roebuck seat belts, dirty belts, small dent on one buckle, used

If interested, let me know and I'll send pictures. Thanks.

Bump to the top one last time.
fyi ... this vacuum advance is for a 1959 tri power and could be attached to a 1110932 distributor.  There will be a "150 18" stamped on the top of its mounting bracket.

Why not go to "Plan B" and have the vacuum advance rebuilt?  We are talking distributor vacuum advance, right?  I had mine rebuilt by Terrill Machine in DeLeon, TX at a reasonable cost and a good turn around time.  Google it for a phone #, as does not have a web site.

Good suggestion and something I would normally do if possible.
But mine has stripped threads (I don't think a helicoil will work) and the diaphram housing has been punched in slightly (like it was bumped when the engine was being reinstalled). With both issues, I probably wasn't getting proper advance.
I managed to get an after market NOS unit (Shurhit) and it works fine, but I'd really like to keep things Delco Remy numbers matching.
Am I a little OCD you ask?  Yes, but it is a '59 Biarritz.
