I'm struggling to find the correct size clips for the belt molding for my 1940 5019 Lasalle resto project. I've found this clip in several different sizes but cant locate this one. It measures 13/16'' square. The closest I've found is 3/4''. Does anyone know where to find the 13/16'' one? Or has anyone used the 3/4'' and found it to be just fine?

Thanks

You don't say whom you've tried but here is one good source of various clips if you haven't tried them yet.

I've check their website and they do not show it. To be honest I cant recall all the sites I have checked. Probably best to start calling some of these vendors and see if they can steer me in the right direction

They do show your style clips in different sizes page 120. Call them up for measurements

I've never tried this, but could you use one of the 3/4" ones and solder a piece of coat hanger wire that is about 1/16" in diameter on one of the wires to make it wider? (If you can't find one of the right size, that is.)
