WTB 1941-49 Cadillac Front Brake Shoes

Want a set of front wheel brake shoes for 1941 through 1949 Cadillac, preferably with NOS linings but good used lining is acceptable. GM Part#1097845, for all except Series 75 and CC.

If you have the old shoes there is a place in Kansas City that can reline any brake shoe.

I'm currently changing my '49's brake shoes for new ones.  What happened is that about a year ago I had the brake shoes relined by a company here in Atlanta that mostly relines brakes for large trucks.  Anyway, the lining they used just doesn't suit me as it doesn't "grab" very well.  I bought another set of shoes with supposedly better lining which, as mentioned, I'm in the process of installing.  I should be done by the end of the week.  (I work slow.)  If I find the new shoes and lining are OK I'd be glad to sell you cheap the previous shoes.  (They have thick riveted lining but you might want to have them re-lined for the reason mentioned.)  Send me a PM if this works for you.

I'm almost positive I purchased my 49 shoes for a 56 chevy car many moons ago @ an auto parts store. Take yours in and compare if they stock them like I did ?
