Hello Gene

Glad to read you are improving your Cadillac.  Comparing the cost you may want to peruse Ebay for a new dash pad?
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

They make a cover I saw on ebay for around $150ish. That's what I'll end up doing on my 60. It's that or 2 grand to have one restored.

I don't think you have to spend quite 2 grand; I spoke to Dash Specialists in Oregon a couple of months ago and was quoted $1350 to do my '60.  If the issue is just cracks, you may be able to get them repaired.  Someone posted here recently about a franchised vinyl repair service that they were impressed with.  I don't recall the name, but you should be able to search for it.

I've seen the $150 covers that they sell on ebay.  The look real funky around the clock, ignition switch headlight switch and cruise. Personally I would wait till I could afford the restoration of the pad rather than use the covers. Just my opinion.

The dash pad is on it's way as of yesterday, Gene. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again, Jeff
