Title: LOOKING FOR PHOTO 1937
Post by: John E. Ward on February 05, 2005, 07:43:26 PM
I am desperately seeking photo(s) that anyone might share of a:

1937 Series 75 Cadillac Convertible Chauffer model, with center partition glass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have such photos or know anyone who you might direct me to for further inquiries I thank you for your help.

An internet search may help. Go to Google and enter 1937 Cadillac and when it comes back, use the tab near the top "images". You may find something. Also try corbis.com for images. Google doesnt always catch their stuff, its looking for file names, corbis uses numbers. And of course, post on all the club sites that Google can find, "cadillac club".

John,

I have a number of photos (32 to be exact) of an original, unrestored seven passenger Imperial sedan (with division window) taken in Indiana some 6 years ago. The car used to belong to Arthur Smith but I believe he sold it about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. I have his address somewhere - you may be able to contact him and trace the present owner. The car was an almost perfect original. I have the negatives and can send you a set.

What is your interest in the 37 75 series Imperials?

Regards,

JOHN TOZER

John, I have a 37 75 series convertable sedan. Are you looking for pictures of a general nature or of a specific area. My car is not too photogenic right now, as I was traveling to a show this past Sept and hit a deer at 55mph.

John: -nobody can E-mail you as youve not stated your E-address correctly, --finally figured out that you inadvertantly omitted the dot-"." between charter and net;  -thus believe your E-address should read: [ jward@charter.net ].  Realize you are probably green at this, but try to be more careful, as i wasted 20-min. messing around rebooting my PC several times before i figured out what was wrong that the pictures wouldnt send...   ~Bob vH
