It may be that anyone with a latch still has it attached to the glove box door. If they are the same, buy a door and take the latch out, (if they are the same as the usual latch) and use the spare door as a coaster or something. People who deal in relatively new parts don't separate things down that far is possibly why you haven't found one yet.
